Atmospheric Jellyfish
Sunday, January 8, 2012
An atmospheric jellyfish refers to cryptids that allegedly reside in the earth’s atmosphere. They are also known as atmospheric beasts. Some researchers considered them as living creatures. However, they seem to go against the scientific laws that apply to living creatures.
According to research, these creatures are soft bodied and can fly on their own. In addition to this, there are part of the jellyfish that are cannot be seen by the naked eye. However, some experts say that they may be an offshoot of some other creatures from other planets within our solar system or within giant gas clouds from outer space.
But there are some experts who still believe that they are just distant cousins of atmospheric elements that reside in other planets and not aliens per say. However, the alien theory is still the most predominant theory used to describe the creatures.
Some accounts say that these atmospheric jellyfish are very dangerous because they can cause burns upon their enemies and could not be seen coming. There are other descriptions of the creatures that can be noted as follows:
• They have bodies that have been compared to aerogel.
• They felt like soft blankets and smelled like mildew.
• They are practically weightless
• Upon demise, it will eventually melt into the air leaving no trace of existence
In addition to this, according to some witness accounts, these creatures can change their density. They can become smaller and have a harder shell or they can become very cloudlike almost to the point of invisibility. Some even say that they can glow in the dark.
Most of these creatures reside in the atmosphere and may disappear as soon as it comes in contact with the ground. In addition to this, they have been compared to air whales. Their physical appearance has been likened to that of the Crown Jellyfish or Cubozoa.
In popular culture, it has been the subject of many episodes of science fiction television shows like secret Saturdays and star trek which is why it is considered as alien species. This is definitely something to look into because it may prove that there is life in outer space and can also help in further research and understanding.
